Startup Advice
Advice for founders, pulled from my own experience and the startups I have worked with.
"Now Hiring at Contains Inc." is about hiring for Engineers and Product Designers at Contains. I write about hiring when we are doing it because I believe in being transparent about the process.
"Using Existing Customers' Words To Get More Customers" covers one of the most useful things you can do in the exploration phase: learn how your customers naturally describe your product. Then use their language.
Then there is "Good Idea vs Good Business." A friend came to me with what he called "a terrible idea" for a new experiment, and the conversation that followed was worth writing about.
I also wrote "Advice for Startups by David Noel." My buddy David was part of the founding team at Soundcloud and helped them scale to 300-plus people. His advice is better than mine on most things.
This section keeps growing as I learn more from the founders around me.
